My 5th solo art show and my 2nd art show @HomeGrown Board Shop in Ithaca NY will be Jan 28th 7pm-9pm. The show will include new large scale stencils and pixel art and will also feature a performance by break dance troop Absolute Zero!
The EAT THE WEAK after party will be at Delilah’s on Cayuga (upstairs loft) directly following the art show from 9pm-1am. 21 and up, $5 cover and will feature music by DJ CUTMAN, ELECTRIC MAYHEM, DJ BONES and DR.Z! So much electro, dubstep and chiptunes you’ll go and eat the weakest person you know! Come out, dance on graves, and support the DEATH BEAR!
I had booth at BIT GEN GAMER FEST 5 selling lego/pixel art, hand painted acrylics, and 2 of my new t-shirt designs DON’T HATE ME BECAUSE I’M BEAUTIFUL and RISE FROM YOUR GRAVE. My buddy DJ CUTMAN was also booked for BIT GEN and played in the dealers room for 10 hours (which… is crazy lol). We had an awesome time and I want to say thank you so so so so so much to everyone who picked up DEATH BEAR ARTWORK. You have no idea how great it is to have people dig what I do and help support me. I’d also liked to give a special thanks to Mike for letting me and the CUT MAN crash at his place after the show… and all the awesome guys from BIT GEN who booked us and showed us a great time in Maryland! If you want to meet MC DEATH BEAR and pick up some dope artwork in person, my next convention will be MAGFEST January 13th-16 in Alexandria VA! Until then keep it PIXEL PIXEL!

So my good friend Jessica Weston was overly awesome enough to stay in town for the weekend (breaking her other plans) just to take pictures at my art show DANCE ON YOUR GRAVE. Sadly her flash decided to die so we just got a couple good pictures from the show but no worries… there will be so much more rad art shows/dance parties from MC DEATH BEAR in the future LOL. There was a really good turn out for the night and I think the show was an ultra success. I’d like to thank Jessica Weston for taking photos for the show, DJ CUTMAN for rocking some mad dope chiptunes at the opening, HomeGrown Board Shop for letting me book an art show at their store, Pixel Lounge for letting me book my after party there, Mario B for coming up and completely KILLING ITHACA NY, All my SickDamage.com brothers who came from Buffalo for the show, My housemate and Moving Box Studios co-worker Nicoli for running a video camera for the show (video coming soon!) and YOU all the MC DEATH BEAR CUBS who support me… Thanks!

BIT GEN GAMER FEST is a huge Video game music and art Festival and I’m ultra stoked to be apart of it!! I’ll be running a booth selling lego/pixel art, video game themed stencil art, and t-shirts! NEW ART SHOW! Feb 4th 10pm @ Pixel Lounge Ithaca NY 21 and up (its at a bar lol) This will be my 3rd art show at Pixel and I’ll be showing new lego/pixel artwork along with larger scale recreations of some of my more famous tags and some all new stencils! Dj Air Man will be playing a video game/chiptune set followed by Dr.Z pumping house/drum and bass to close out the night! Also my good friend Jake Barber will be there documenting the night and making a video with the footage for the blog! So come check out the new art, party your face off, and dance on people’s graves!

This was my first convention with a booth selling my original artwork and I’m already in talks with other conventions to bring my works to their shows! 20X is going to be a huge year for me, more episodes of Purgatory Pizza are coming, I’ll be starting my next cartoon BRAIN EATING BASTARDS this summer, the official MC DEATH BEAR T-shirt is coming out this month from Domestic Apparel Projects, and I’LL BE AT MORE CONVETIONS SELLING MY ARTWORK!
