This past weekend I painted a large mural on the front gate of The Westy in Ithaca NY. The Mural is apart of my latest art show MAUL THEM ALL that will be hosted there Oct 29th. Painting this was actually a pretty grueling process but I am so overly happy with the final result. After fighting with my projector, I decided to just paint this bear free hand… by just looking at the original picture on my iphone for reference. Which, was hard ha. But after a full weekend of work I think its one of my dopest works to date.

MC DEATH BEAR is coming back to Ithaca for his 7th solo art show MAUL THEM ALL @ The Westy! Featuring new prints and stencils by the biggest name in Upstate NY street art! My good friend Max was an extra in the new ASHER ROTH ft. AKON music video “LAST MAN STANDING” and was rocking some MC DEATH BEAR SWAG! I’m pretty glad that the cartoonist on this video Chris Hunt took the time to draw my bear. Even though this is just a couple seconds I can just feel that MC DEATH BEAR is going to blow up soon. I drew this bear in my notebook in between checking I.D.’s at work, when I got home I got my light table out and traced it from my notebook to a sticker. Thought the transition from idea, doodle, to tag was pretty hip.
I’ve had these sticker tags done for a few and I just haven’t had a chance to throw them up yet. I was going to post them up last night but when my alarm rang I turned my phone off and went back to cuddling with my overly hawt girlfriend (priorities) ha. But I’m going to throw them up soon and I’ll update my post when I do, just sick of sitting on this RADDNESS and want you guys to see em.
